View multiple calendars side by side in Outlook
It is quite easy to view multiple calendars side by side in Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: Firstly, please shift to the Calendar view with clicking the Calendar in the Navigation Pane.
Step 2: Check all calendars that you will view together in the Navigation Pane. See the screen shot below.
Then all checked calendars are displaying side by side automatically in Microsoft Outlook. See the following screen shot.

When you checked multiple calendars together, they will display side by side automatically. Sometimes it may be not comfortable to compare or schedule all appointments from different calendars. Do not worry! The view mode of overlay will help you get it.
Step 1: Shift to the Calendar view with clicking the Calendar in the Navigation Pane.
Step 2: Check all calendars you will view at the same time in the Navigation Pane.
Step 3: Click the Overlay button in the Arrangement group on the View tab in Outlook 2010 and 2013.
If you are using the Outlook 2007, please click the View > View in Overlay Mode.

When I perform the overlay feature, and 2 calendars both overlay on my phone's calendar. BUT, when I remove the overlay feature via my desktop, the overlay remains. Displaying Microsoft Outlook’s Mailbox and Calendar Side by Side

The next time you open Outlook, your calendar and mail windows will open side by side.
